Default Consequences of no exhaust wrap

Hi

Am getting my H + S dowpipe fitted on my classic on Saturday. Haven't got any exhaust wrap for it and was wondering what the consequences of not wrapping it would be??

i know it would be better if I wrapped it but ive left it too late to get some wrap before saturday, so am probably gonna go without.... unless someone on here gives me a big warning not to.

Cheers Yaz

Well, you won't have itchy arms and hands, thats for sure.

Wrapping downpipes is not as important as wrapping headers, just ensure the heatshield is refitted (it'll have to be trimmed).
