Easy people,

new to the board & already in need of a little help if poss ? ? ?

Not for myself but a friend of mine has recently bought a 95 spec WRX which has just been chipped by powers and pushin 280hp. He's over the moon with it & can't stop drivin it !

Questions is, well first, he's been launchin it quite hard and the box now whines - so he thought he'd be clever & buy a P1 gearbox & rear diff. Will these work ? I thought the P1 had electronic speedo & WRX cable ? If this the case how can we get round it ? Unbolt the speedo drive & bolt in the cable drive mech ? ? ? Also has the P1 box got diff lock like the RA ?

Other question is, he's after more power (330hp or more if poss) how can he go about this ? FMIC, Ecu, injectors, hybrid turbo etc but what would be best ? And what can the standard bottom end take ? ? ?
