De-cat 2001> Scooby
Currently I have a 2001 bug-eyed scooby. I have decided to get my Cat's removed. I would like some feed back from those who have this done. Both good points and bad. Also roughly how much it cost...
Cheers

Have taken all 3 CAT out of mine, sounds so much better, make sure you get the up pipe as it make a big difference to the performance. It cost me £140 to get my exhaust fitted which was steep, but very well done as the up pipe is a pain in the **** to do aparently.
Watch out for over boost as I only had a panel filter on mine and once I took the cats out I was 255bhp on the rolling road @ Power Engineering so had it Ecuteck 2 and now running 277bhp. Much happier + safer
As for MOT every year, need to find a friendly man who will do it. Some pass through fine. Some just want to see one of the CAT's in the boot and don't make you put it back on.
Hope that helps.
