does it have ppp?
been to look at an sti supposedly with ppp. i thought the tell-tale signs of ppp were prodrive on the backbox rather than sti, and blue intercooler hose. ths car had none of these although the seller produced a certificate with prodrive on it. this showed the vrm, chassis no, and points 1-4 which has things like "use 97 ron". also the v5 listed the car as "sti prodrive" not
" ppp".does this sound like it has ppp.?

I guess its a 2002 model which is 'prodrive style' Not ppp.The ppp cars dont have prodrive on the log book as its an after market addition. The prodive style can have ppp fitted as an option but it sounds as if it hasnt to me as still has the sti exhaust branded exhaust on it.

The bugeye STi Prodrive model name is very confusing.
I spotted this exhaust on Ebay that is just a std bit of kit.

It comes off an STi prodrive "style", but I wonder if anyone falls into the trap of thinking its a proper PPP exhaust?

Intercooler hose is not changed (still red STI one as its up to the job). Should def have Prodrive branded backbox though. A call to Prodrive will reveal truth. Careful as I had WRX sold to me as PPP and it was not (from Subaru dealer!!!) Took 6 months to sort out but I did get shiny 53 plate STI PPP out of them eventually as compo.

Just had mine done. I got a Prodrive certificate showing reg. no. and vin. no and fitting date. Also a silver sticker on drivers side B-pillar showing new BHP and warning to notify insurance co. The back box also says Prodrive

Mines a prodrive style not a ppp,Notice the wrap round front fog lamp covers that the prodrive style has.Its also not the o/e bonnet scoop so disregard that.
