parrallel import sti
been to look at a 04 sti nice mota with 30 k on the clock. its a parrallel import and up for 16k. ive been offered 9 k for my 02 wrx as trade in against it.
does this sound like a good deal.
what negatives are there with a parrallel import
will it have any subaru warranty
would it have any alarm system on it as standard.
yes i know i could have asked the nice salesman some of these questions but i am easily hacked off with the b.s they spout.

A Euro import would have 3year warranty if the car has reg'd with Subaru UK. A quick call to them with the reg and/or chassis number would confirm that.
Euro car would not come with alarm, tracker or locking wheel nuts usually. These should have been fitted by whoever bought it new. Scooby UK cars are brought in without alarms etc and are fitted before going out to the dealers. It should have the immobiliser fitted as standard.
You are going to need to ask the salesman to answer some of your questions.
Andy.

Without PPP and being an EU import means it's probably worth IRO £14k TBH. You'll get a UK with PPP for £16k on an 03 and another grand may get you an 04 (only difference being a square boot lock). I saw an 05 EU import (05 got better suspension with Spec C geometry, so worth it if you can stretch to it) in the 'Trader recently for £18k, which I would have had like a shot if I was in the market as my next car won't have a warranty for long anyway once I start modding
