LOL how desperate are they now that so many people have switched over to Tesco's 99? I wonder who is in charge of these companies sometimes..here's a tip if anyone from Shell is watching - lessen the price differential between your normal unleaded and your Optimax and people may come back to you.

Worth a try. I bet no-one who ticked the 25k+ option wins and you have to wonder if by opting not to receive their spam that your entry doesn't go in

Funny in the same newspaper, in the money section, some finacial expert was harping on about how much money you lose on buying a new car, because it depreciates so much in the first year, which we all know about.
But then she goes on to say that she can't understand why peolple use super unleaded fuel because "the AA" say that there is no differance in performance between Normal and Super unleaded.

Possibly this is the case with a Nissan Micra but with any performance car the statement is just not true.

I've placed my entry! Now with regards to the 'finacial expert' who seems to think it makes no diffferance, i really do hate it when journalists are mis informed. Anyone know the journalist name i may send hi a link to the 5th gear page with the results of the 14 BHp improvement in the STi with Optmax in the tank!!

Maybe Shell should make it 100Ron

All the performance cars would be there buying the stuff.

From the "competition terms and conditions"

Maybe shell should make the bloody stuff cheaper, I cant believe it costs much more to make than the standard UL and I'm sure any R&D costs have been recouped by now.
