At least 6 points and a heafty fine, dependant on how long you were driving without insurance.
If you are involved in an accident that would be a different ball game altogether! even if the other driver crashed into you, it would be your fault for not being insured as you should not be on the road.

The courts will probably give you a £180 fine or some **** like that. Maybe some points.
However, crash into me with your uninsured car, and the penalty will be savvier

An un-insured driver hit my sister's car a few years back.
He went to prision for 1 month and given 18 months ban.
They don't mess around with this sort of effence, though maybe this guy was a repeat offender.
Good Luck.

It's uninsured *********, and that is exactly what they are , that push up the premiums for us law abiding citizens.
There are four compulsory insurances that you must have cover for, one being motor!
Do your self and other road users and pedestrians a favour and make sure your insured!

Well said all of you.
Only the stupid would do this and drive without cover, but arn't you scared one of them might be in a Scooby?
I am sure some do-gooders somewhere will pamper the poor little mite, feed and comfort him, wash his car and valet also with a free tank of petrol (Optimax of course).
Law is an ***, we know that, unless there is a 'camera' in its pocket....then we are all doomed at some time.
Guess who gets away with the speeding ticket too!
Aghhhhh!
Graham.
