Depends on what type of import. What Neil said if it's a Japanese import (JDM model, i.e. first registered in Japan). If it's a euro-import (i.e. first registered in Europe or the UK), they only had the same power as the UK car - i.e. 215bhp as standard.

How much you gained from the exhaust depends on whether it's a backbox (in which case an extra 5bhp tops), or a full turbo-back system (in which case maybe 20bhp over standard, and potential for more with a suitable re-map). The dump valve will not have gained you any power IMHO.

I have a MY01 WRX Bugeye, UK model 221bhp standard, put a panal filter on it and a Farel T04 Straight though exhaust inc up pipe, took all 3 cats out. Got 255bhp on rolling road, but seriously over boosting which was all over the place on the graph. Then got a TEK2 which finished with 277bhp with 273Ibs torque.

Worth every penny spent, and what a difference

UK model MY01/02 WRX was 218PS/215bhp standard.

Agree it's well worth tuning them, my 02WRX was at 284bhp/272lbft on a sports cat system, up-pipe change, TEK and a few other minor mods. The bigger difference IMHO is that the power comes in a lot earlier and goes on a lot longer.
