Default Performance Subaru Sti6 Splitters

Can someone tell me please if the version 6 front splitters sold by Performance Subaru are really genuine. They state on their website they are but they seem to be a little under priced for a genuine item.

Please if someone could shine some light on this

Also wouldi pay any duty with the item coming from N.Ireland

cheers

I ordered one a couple of weeks ago but they've sent me an email saying they wont be in stock till April. Was the only place i could find by browsing on the net that sold genuine splitters. I know rcm supply genuine parts so they'll be getting a phone call next......

p.s. you dont pay tax on stuff from N.I.

I tried getting hold of an STI 6 front lip from my two closest dealers, but no joy!! In the end I bought a Carbon Fibre one from www.DRmotorsport.co.uk . Hope this helps.

Yes, search on here for the part numbers. IIRC I posted them and the prices. I ordered mine from my dealer!

Thanks for the replies guys, im just a little tied up with money at the moment but around 100 quid for the splitter I can defo afford. Only problem is getting one of genuine quality and it needs to be like within a week or two since my car is having some work done on it and I can get it painted at the same time for free

The carbon splitter I got was of very good quality. Even the bodyshop said it was well made. Good luck with the search mate.

well i got the price of the splitter only which was something like 92 quid + VAT come upto something like £108 as some of the guys had told me. So id go with the part number list Floyd has kindly got us and would safely say that them prices are near accurate.

My nearest dealer was KT Green, near Leeds/Bradford Airport but i believe all dealers would have similar prices.

Hope that helps

Yeah if your mates includes the complete fitting kit then it is worth it.

This is around £141 including the fitting kit and free delivery since its getting delivered direct to my friends place plus i get a subaru dealer invoice which is always very promising and adds to the documents of ure car lol

Btw was yours £122 including complete fitting kit or just the protector and also was that including VAT and delivery

I have realised dealer prices have increased for the protector by around 8 quid and the splitter itself becoming cheaper

NOTE i get a % off the £141 price due to me buying it via garage which carries out work on my car normally

bloomen hell RON, i wouldnt want mine coming in a "Subary" box

But yeah thanks for confirming that, it was what i was wanting to know but nevertheless it is working out better from the local dealer. I never knew their prices were gona be same or shall i say 2 pounds less for the splitter.

Im getting it at more or less same price as performance subaru but on top getting i believe 10% trade discount and free delivery

so should be saving in the region of 10-20 pounds lol
