Default Blow off valve query

Car is an MY94 2.0 AWD UK Wagon.

At some time in it's past (before me) it was fitted with a Blitz blow off vale, would it be wiser of me to refit the standard Subaru one? (if I can source one) as I'v'e read posts on hear about MAF failure caused by B.O.V's.
As far as I'm aware it's not had any other mods done to it although I'm curious about the turbo, it starts spooling up at 2500 rpm and keeps pulling very strongly upto 6500rpm where commonsense overtakes the adrenaline rush and I ease off on the loud pedal.
Do not want to investigate the big bang theory.

any help appreciated.

Derek

MAf sensors are more prone to failure on my99 an my00 and about dump valves plenty of people have them without there engines going bang, its just scaremungering on here
I change my MAF senser every year to make sure theres no probs

Bear in mind that the standard BOV is a recirculating only valve. So it should not make any difference which BOV you fit.
