Default What size is the pipe

I have bought a 1997 uk turbo

Does anyone know what size exhaust pipe is used on the backbox section before the silencer.

My car still has the std back box with the twin tiny tail pipes on .

My cars at home and want to order some stuff for it today but aint got the pipe size.

Cheers for any help

The classic one (the one the guy above has) is 2 1/8".
I've just measured my old exhaust to double-check

It's a 2.5" diameter pipe. However, I never established whether that was ID or OD.

It's 2.5" OD, but smaller inside (obviously!)
