MY06 boot badge and MY05 'subaru' letters....
Are the 'subaru' letters a new age boot lid (55 plate in particular) just stuck on?
The reason i ask is i'm about to swap a MY06 WRX boot and spoiler over with an MY05 STi boot and spoiler (inc the locks ) and i bought the MY06 oval subaru badge to replce the 'subaru' letters which are on the MY05 boot. However the MY06 badge looks to have two mounting points on the back of it indicating the MY06 boot has holes in it to fix the badge to. This isn't a problem if the MY05 letter are stuck on, i can just take these off and remove the mounting lugs on the new badge and try to stick it in the right place with the supplied double sided tape. Just want to make sure the subaru letters are just stuck on like they are on a classic.
Cheers,
Tony.

The MY06 boot does have 2 holes in it. If you remove the new oval badge you are left with the holes. This was highlighted on a USA site I was reading recently. I bought a debadged MY03 boot and then bought the S U B A R U badge which comes already spaced to stick on, you just peel off the backing ensuring its in the correct position, press hard and then peel off the top protective.
