MY
The new motor sounds pretty impressive.
So has it got a 2.2 litre turbo or is it a larger engine?
The steering wheel mounted gearchange - Is that like the Ferrari paddle shift - i.e. a clutchless manual gearchange?

This special sounds impressive, whats all this about +/- on the steering ? pahh
Picked up my new beast (sti6typer) last night and they had the new wrx in so i got to have a real close look inside and out. First impression were that it looked just like the old wrx (has kept its true scoobyness) the front lights do look a bit ****-eyed but overall it wasnt that bad at all. I can't comment on the rear since this one was a wagon but it did look higher and more chumpy...
Interior looked pretty much the same, although they have seemed to have fixed a few of the weak points (no flexing at all on the dash/door panels). Still not a huge improvement and i prefer my new sti6 cockpit
I did also notice the suspension looked visibly soft when they road it back and forth.
All in all, I think the new one is much of the same, didn't get to see the normal rear in the flesh though :P

The car is 2 door, lightweight, and is coming directly out of the factory to me, price...well...coz of it's spec and firmly told only 250 are to be produced, ( of which evidently most have been earmarked...I know...they may be bull sh***ing ) I'm not overly keen on advertising the price I'm paying, I ain't getting much change out of £38k !!!

Nope, i wont be at brands.
By the time i decided i wanted to go all the places were taken
There are also 4 reserves so i am Fubard for that one, damn shame. Unless you know a way to sneak me in that is
Driving the nurburgring in the little beasty should be "interesting". I only have moulded slicks so if its wet (v likely) its gonna be rather sideways

Is this a wide arch coupe ala 22B.Or is it based on the all new shape which was supposedly not going to be available in coupe! If so, I wonder what it looks like! The STi site seems to be down at the moment!!

It is a wide arched coupe but in new shape form, you wont see this car on any info site STi's etc...each one is offerd to varying specs dependant on customer requirements, a guy has ordered a race/rally going version at a beleived cost of £70 - 80k and will still need add ons when he takes delivery !

Listen up guys,
I've just paid my money for a very special V11 Scooby, been told only one of 250 at moment.....an STi blue printed 360bhp scooby, with loads of whistles, bells and toys to impress even the hardened scooby enthusiast.....promised to give delivery 3rd week in January, added extra's to include privacy glass, steering wheel gear change control...and other bits and pieces, it's not yellow but will be very distinguishable....I have just returned from Japan having test driven their proto-type, maybe Mr R.Burns would like to comment on this new monster, due to be unveiled very soon....? cost....£...quite a bit of yen..!

Scott J D,
From what I've read in Autocar, Subaru are/have developed a 3 litre engine, whether its going in any of the new Impreza, dunno... Cant remember where I saw it, but the 2.5 ltr twin turbo that is in the new legacy, might be being looked at for Impreza use.... think it was in one of the Jap Car Mags... hmm.. try and find it..

The same car that MY is referring, I will also have some delivery dates and specs due end of the week. Not sure about prices yet but hopefully they will be included with the Option list from Mr Masuka in Japan.
Also some EVO7's arriving before X mas which should be fun
