When you getting your Skyline?

I'm juggling between a very modded Type R or a Skyline V Spec II, which will probable end up very modded.

 

Oh please please Mellow Yellow, you must have some pics. And surely you know the engine spec i.e. 3litre turbo..... Spending that much money I'd sure wanna know.

Also can you mail me all the gory details.

thought some of you experienced die hard people would've had wind of this machine...it is a 2.5 turbo, I have no pics, none were allowed at the test site, it is not going to be a well publisised product, it does look the business, as soon as I am in receipt of the machine pics galore will be posted, I know that there are 6 more booked for export to the UK inc 1 to Mr Ryan Giggs, of Adlington Nr Chorley, Lancs...plays a bit of footy I beleive...oh and catch this...we also saw sight of a 2 door CABRIOLET SCOOBY.....

I live about 80 miles from Dennis Ryans garage and I was not aware he was in Japan of late.Please elaborate some more.

I was recently staying at the lodge and spa hotel on the beach there at Clonakilty awaiting a collegue on our trip out to Japan and happened to be drinking beside a chap called David who is Dennis Ryans foreman and we got talking about the UK market and prices etc...and we mentioned that we were going out to view a demo of a very special scoob at the weekend, he informed me that his boss ..Dennis Ryan was also flying out and evidently certain dealers had special invitation, I presume Dennis Ryan is only one of one Subaru dealer in your neck of the woods ? I dont know....by the way we had a great trip up to Kinsale and scared some fishermen when we were going over that long bridge into the town.....

 

Most interesting indeed.So the only place you could see this car was in Japan and supposedly Mr Ryan was also heading to Japan to see the car.Am I correct in stating that?How long ago was this and why where you choosen to go to see it,no offence or anything.

The new SVX is due soon with twin turbo 3 litre lump. It will also be a 2 door coupe......

 

Good to hear the SVX will be back althoug I thought the last one was only available in a big dirty automatic? And didnt the car way about the same as most HGV,s.Any way Subaru really need to expand there car range big time,its way too small.They should have a much cheaper saloon and hatch back to fit in below the Impreza and a proper super mini thats not built in Hungary and contains 99.7% Suzuki parts

My UK supplier gave me the option to fly out with him ( he had the invite ) so coz I've time on my hands I did !
Why not give Dennis a ring and ask his thoughts on the car? He's evidently supplying two, to some people in your neck of the woods.....I didn't think he was that big but evidently he's been Subaru for donkeys....Oh yeah...having loads of money does help....forgot about that!

About time they came up with something with more than the usual 276bhp. How do you think this will compare with a Cavalier with Konis though?

 

Guess it's just convenient it's also a 2.2 boxer.

 

Yeh - I think the 555 thing was just a co-incidence really.....
