Default My car STI V2 or V3?

Hello.
Just wondering, what version STI do i have?
The car is a MY96 on a P plate, engine code GC8C4ED. I think it may be a version 2, but could this car be an early V3?
Cheers.

In order to be a Version 3, the Applied Model Code would have to be: GC8D4ED.

Easiest way to tell and is by the ignition as already stated by Big Bear.
Ver 2 is on coil packs and VER 3-6 have ignition located on top of inlet manifold at front.
