As stated, what is the function of one of these and are they hard to fit.

If you look at the Newage Modification Article, it explains what these bits of equipment are and how they can be fitted.

Also, the correct spelling is: K(c)ock link, in order to keep our resident troll, Pete, happy!

If you're not inclined to read the aforementioned article, a K(c)ock link is basically a device that monitors your engine for anything that sounds like detonation (very bad news) and warns of any such sounds via a LED display.

Your car will already have a knock sensor, but by all accounts it's not very good at detecting knock under certain conditions. If you've modifed your car it pays to have one as a safeguard. It will also give you advance warning of a bad batch of fuel or a failing MAF, for example.

Plus, lights are nice to look at!!!
