Lightbulb New clutch

I need some help here. Ive just been told I need a new clutch and flywheel by my subaru dealer.

Car accelerates, and when changing from 3rd to 4th gear, it slows down, and then sounds like an automatic car.

Car has, 52,000 miles on the clock, and 4 and a half years old.

I really need some advice, before I spend this £640 on the new parts.

Thanks

DO NOT GET IT DONE AT THE STEALER!!!!

they'll make you pay through the nose for the OEM clutch and BIG labour rates for fitting (it's a 4 hour job) and you'll STILL be left with a clutch that judders when cold.

Start a Group buy on an Exedy uprated organic with Scoobypeterpump -who's also after a new clutch, see his thread- with David at API and save yourself some money and get the job done right!
