Traded in the bugeye WRX for a Blob STI type UK today and i am astonshished at the difference between the two cars.
Pickup in the sti is amazing, cant stop grinning

Kids and sweet shops spring to mind.

Im 36 years old going on ten, but for some reason the mrs doesn't seem so excited

Going out now for a prearranged meal with friends so new car is tucked away in garage.

women have a habit of trying to ruin your enjoyment of a new car.I had the same with my first Scooby. She said she hated it so every time she went for the keys I told her she hated it and perhaps she should take her car. As soon as I got another and she drove it she said she liked it. They're jealous of you paying attention to something else

 

My wife moans that she feels sick when I floor it with her in the car!! Thereagain, mine has the TSL333 pack which ups power to 330bhp!!! Does she ever hear me moaning about her 'jerky' driving (whilst my foot is wedged to the floor!!!) Enjoy mate!!

My woman just grins, giggles or gasps Last week whilst merging with traffic I needed a little squirt of throttle to get in before the next batch and she likened it to "being shot out of a canon" She used to be OK with the speed, but since the last bout of suspension revisions and some driver training the cornering speeds have increased significantly and now she does express some concern.
