Depends how you define race.
If you mean a quick blat away from a roundabout up a dual carriageway without hitting really silly speeds or the occasional bit of fun away from the lights with no pedestrians around, then yes.
If you mean round twisty A and B roads where you cant see F-all that may be coming the other way and you're on a road you dont know or in built up areas with pedestrians, then no.

Could we please have another option for us people who are having trouble coming to terms with the fact and admitting to ourselves that we race or have on occasion raced on the public highyway...
Possibly the option :
"yes, but under incredibly safe and special circumstances that I can't really go into but you'll have to take my word for it"
