Default STi Good/bad price

Is 15999 a decent price for a MY04 sti with 32k on the clock.
What do you think i should be cheeky enough to ask for a MY02 wrx 35k on the clock (WR Blue, FSSH, sti spoiler, tracker, morette headlight conversion & Stainless exhaust system) when part exchanging.
Nik.

If its at a dealer its good price. My STI PPP 53 plate was £18500 back in September but prices have tumbled recently. I reckon they will steady though due to facelift MY06 being so unpopular. Seems lot of buyers are turning to STI8/9 instead of buying new model. I got £9800 for my 01 WRX when traded in so yours should be worth in that region.

Thanks m8.
I was hoping to squeeze about ten out of them as the car is in really good condition.

I don't think there's anything 'cheeky' about asking for a fair price for your car! Are we British becoming that paranoid that we're even too scared to value our cars honestly??? To know the value of your car for Trade sale, Private sale and part ex, ask to look at the dealers Glass's guide. If he doesn't have the courtesy to show you, then don't buy a car from him, simple.

Isn't it strange that a dealer will always find something wrong with our cars that doesn't quite make them worth as much as the cars that THEY are selling!

If you buy an 04 at 32,000 miles at £16k you should have a good look at the general for sale section first.
My Black 54 reg with 13,700 on the clock is waiting and looking for offers above £16K.
One owner, RAC tracker, prodrive rear box, new front tyres at 12,500 miles (only because tracking was out) and very well cared for.
