Think they've messed up their site a bit there. The link to the Scooby report takes you to the picture and summary for the WRX, but the text for the GTI !

Just noticed that for the WRX:
BEST BITS cheap interior, harsh ride, poor visibility, expensive
WORST BITS acceleration and braking ability, handling !

AND they've transposed the star ratings wrong from the test to the conclusion. How rubbish are autoexpress?

They are tosh generally. I read that article in the magazine. Interesting that despite proclaiming that the Scooby was the fastest, "by some margin" and the best handling, quickest point to point etc... (as noted, the above is the wrong way around ) it came 3rd! Surely, when we're talking GTi's, performance and the fun factor must be the most important considerations, yet its been damned for the interior quality etc... which is on par with the Astra IMHO. I also wonder how much more expensive it is than the Golf?
