Subaru Crash
On my way home last night from a family meal and we were overtaken by various emergency vehicles and they eventually gathered about a mile from my house on a pretty infamous road.
Just peeked at the local news and things don't look good at all.

Glad I'm not the only cynical one here - Just I don't have a flame suit at the moment

I believe he was a member from here, but i don't know what his username was.
Diablo - When you consider there is a very big sticky at the top of the page about another scoobynet member dying i thought i might pass on the information.
Or did you post a similar message on that thread aswell?

ChrisP was a well known and respected member of this BBS, that many on here knew personally.
That's a huge difference from someone no one appears to know (aside from your professional relationship) sadly adding to the statistics.
I drove past a fatal RTA last week on my way home, where a Mitsu Warrior left the M8 at an intersection and landed on top of a car waiting at traffic lights below. Warrior driver died at the scene and the driver of the car he landed on was critical. Arguably more tragic than the Subaru death given there was more than 1 driver/family involved. But I didn't feel the need to offer my condolances on here, nor would I expect anyone else to.
Aside from the fact that you insured him (fair enough, feel free to offer what condolences you will) and he was driving a Subaru, there is no more reason for posts of condolences from complete strangers who appear to care less about far more tragic world events and only give a **** because he was (potentialy irresponsibly) driving a bloody impreza.

Seems to be getting an all too familiar posting on here these days, yet there are posts on here right now of people boasting of what they have/haven't beaten, how fast they've gone etc, etc,
