Not sure if I'm in the right place or not? Has any one driven the latest Forester 2.5XT? My wife is due to change her car (Passat 130Tdi Sport Est) later this year. As it won't be doing a high milage I was wondering what sort of fuel consumption the XT will return? Boot size has to be good as we have two golden retreivers.
Leting the other half loose in a 4x4 with the same power as my UR quattro is a bit scary.

This place is fine, but an even better place for your query is subaruforester.org. Bear in mind that over there you'll see mpg figures in US gallons, which are smaller than ours... Plenty of European owners on there as well.

If the Forester is a 4x4 then so is the Impreza, since the two cars use the same platform 'Wagon' sounds better...
