Best bit of advice I can give is to play GT4 with steering wheel in a similar car to yours. Play it till you know your way around and you'll be amazed how quickly you get to grips with the real thing

I don't think timing is a bad thing to do, but chasing times certainly is.

Id have to agree; I understand that a very high percentage of recovered cars have a running stopwatch.....

I was probably lapping at around 11 mins plus when I went...

In my defence I did spin 360 on my first lap so the remainder was spent in pslewis mode getting my confidence back...

Nope, you dont need a helmet, you dont need long sleeves, infact you could probably drive it naked if you wanted too. I wouldnt recommend driving in anything other than proper gear myself though.

Did a 10:10 on the 10th lap (standard bugeye WRX). It was just after it had stopped raining so there were very few cars and it was quite dry.

Averaged low 9s in my turbocharged Clio with a welded up exhaust to keep the noise down. Then it overheated after 3 laps without a break.

She did mate (you can just see it in her hands). You can tell with the look on my face that I was quite chuffed with that time
