Thats my point exactly, there are lots of sites out there with all sorts of useful bits and pieces on them, I just thought that it might be useful to all of us to share the info

Question Useful database?

I've just finished writing a Subaru dealership database in OV2 format for the TTG, if any of you want it? I'm quite willing to email it to you

I'll try it as well, please - the one's I've got at the moment are "loosely" correct as they must be based on postcodes rather than true gps coordinates by being sat outside the dealership...

Email addy as per profile...

Would be interested. Since pocket gps announced they were going to charge for the speed camera data base that was sent to them by the users I haven't been on the site.

Lightbulb Nailing those GPS coordinates

JGRIFF

Just a thought but if you want those coordinates you could set a challenge for the rest of us on the board.

With the numbers of us on here covering the whole country I'm sure we could get you the exact coordinates for all the dealers in the country.

Put a post out with the list of dealers you are covering in your code and see if we can nail them all.

Cue lots of suspisious looking subaru drivers pulling up at the dealers, reading a GPS device, writing something down and then driving off....

Default Cracking idea, more cheese Grommit!

Scott,
I think that is a cracking idea, the one I've put together is from the info on the Subaru UK website. I've used the dealer locator map where the info is at odds, but if we all took a few dealers and recorded lat & long exactly, it would be spot.

If I can have some volunteers, I'm willing to co-ordinate it here, Go get em boys and girls!!,

JG

PS those of you that asked for it I've emailed the V1.0 to

Thumbs up Yes

Steve, yes got a suitable bitmap, let me know what you think.

Those that have asked for the list I'llemail it to you, let me know what you think, and we can use it as the base from which to start the accurate list. I'll ammend it in excel to include dealers name and phone number
