Nah, can't be true...... can it?

A 300bhp Vectra in touring car guise, with AWD, 18's, electric this that and whatever else, and wait for it......

No Turbo!

Is this the end for Scoobies, Evo's, Cossies and GTI-R's?

Oh and I forgot to mention the all important Lotus tuned KONI suspension!

Cool

It won't hold a candle to a Koni sprung Cavalier though.

If those Koni Sports dampers are so bad, then why do Lotus fit them standard on the Elise?

Its time to light the lights....

KevinW - where did you find the article about the Vectra, or have I missed a vital post somewhere along the line?

Cool

The Konis might work a little better on a super rigid Elise tub. May struggle to work well on an ultra flexi repmobile chassis

I didn't find the GSI to flexible. It was just a little too long to be nimble.

I had an encounter with a Williy Clio. I had a full tank of petrol, full boot and the back seat was full. Off the round-abouts and down the straights I pulled away from him quite nicely. But come to the round-about he was more nimble and caught up.

Jason has made the mistake of overhyping the abilities of a Koni Cav. The GSI was better than the SRi as it had full independant rear suspension. The Sri doesn't. Jason already has a deficiency built in.

If I remember rightly, Mr Rawle had a very modified Cav Turbo and contributed to the Cav web site. And what did he buy. Im sure it was a WRX.

JASON, drop it now. T'aint going to get you anywhere on here.

Nough said!
