Default timing belt ????

as above when should i change it ?? as far as i know the chap i bought the car from (fitzscoob from on here ) had'nt changed it and didnt know if anyone had prior as the service manual is in dutch lol btw the car is sittin at 60 k !! cheers for any replies !!

cheers just double checked the history of the car and it was done @ 42k phew !!!!! ty for the reply !!

What date wa it done though... if it's anywhere near 3 yrs old, i'd change it..... i had one go on another vehicle recently, and that was only a couple of months past it's change date.... i'd only just got the car, and was gonna change it the next weekend... too lte.. engine destroyed..

I would change it asap. labour around £100, timing belt from £40-£100 for HKS or Greddy Kevlar belt.
Much less than a £2000 engine.
