Default engine cleaner

i wont to clean my engien bay wot is best cleaner please

What model impreza do you have? as certain models have an affiction with water

CD2 from Halfords. Do a search mate-plenty of comments about this product. Just make sure all the essentials are covered. Used it on both my Classic and newage cars without any problems (although I made sure I used a fine spray from the hose pipe to clean) Stunning results.

your probably be ok then its the new age cars (some of them?) that have a computer controlled alternator, which if you get wet has a tendancy to die a slow and painful death (painful when you see the cost of a replacement alternator )
If you just want to get the dirt off, you cant beat gunk

CD2 every time. Don't use a high pressure hose you don't need one. normal hose and the detailer leaves it gleaming

Agree with CD2.

I hadn't done my engine for 2 years and it had taken quite a lot of dirt in. I even forgot it was red !

Only treated it once, here's the result:



I've been told some warm water, a soft brush and dishwasher product will help me cleaning the intercooler. It's just a bit too cold to go out and do that now . (http://uk.weather.com/weather/local/...&code=code&y=0)
