Seeing as any help is GLEEFULLY received, i'll try and help. Get a chassis number from a UK equivalent car to yours and get them to check the part numbers of both.
They probably aren't keen to help because they are basically wasting their time to help you get the parts from somewhere else apart from them

HTH

Oooh this is my 666 post, i hope this doesn't upset the good/evil balance

cheers rob, as you say, theyre not that helpful but hadnt thought of using a UK vin instead of mine. The only p[rob with that is, can i be !00% sure that the part they quote me will be the same as my import. Do you know of any online stores I can get a couple of prices for Outback parts, particillary my knackered fuel pum. Sub Uk quoted £230 +vat, and they couldnt guarantee it would be the right one.

I'm not 100% if they can look up the parts for your import, if they can then just make sure the part numbers are the same and bingo!
If they cant look up the fuel pump for your car, then get the part number off your pump and compare it to a uk car part number from their system

When I contacted subaru at bristol, they made sense of my MY93 import vin, no probs at all! And they actually had the parts I was after in stock, unfortunately I had to look at other options, as the parts were £44 each +vat, and I was after 16 of them
