Just wondering what the differences are for a standard spec Jap/UK STI (Bugeye) are
ie BHP,extras etc..

280ps (more like 300ps) for the JDM v 265ps for the UK.
1 cat on a JDM v 2 on a UK
More goodies on a JDM, intercooler water spray with man and auto, just auto on uk cars.
Different ECU map's
Shorter 5th and 6th gears on a JDM car, reducing top end by 13mph (approx, still 170mph )
Basically more for your money on a JDM
Oh and i think you also get HID lights on the JDM STi over standard on the UK.

Jdm have more bhp and torque than uksti with ppp likes of 310bhp and near the same torque .Twin scroll turbo equal length manifold hid lights the intercooler is bigger .manual auto intercooler water spray .I think turbo set went on jdm ie 2003 to date

 

rear tints and a wipper,fold in mirrors, front strut brace, card holder next to the cup holder, bleeps when in revers the redline is at 8000 rpm different cams, more car for your money

why is there so much apart from uk to jdm.i would never go back to a uk car after owning a jdm sti
