Have you seen my new car STI 5 Type RA V-Ltd with very similar power/ torque figures to yours, So now I can enjoy the headbanging action on demand Or rather, I can treat my passengers to it

SamPit,
Can I suggest you take both out for a test drive and see what you think..... also please have a think about what is important to you in a car, that way you will make the correct decision.
Regards,
Shaun.

JDM STi V9 onwards, Crystal grey was an option on the Version 11 (2005 car) but not on the V9 or V10.
WR1 is no comparison to a JDM Twin Scroll car, which produces 80% of its torque at 2000rpm, it also holds that torque very nicely, still providing a good 240+lbs near the red line (plus they are also very mappable )

I have a Litchfields Type 20 in Chrystal Grey ... a MY05 JDM Sti (twin scroll and c.330bhp/325lbs) with the Type 25 'bits' added (except the 2.5 ltr engine).
Lovely ... and I am told ... better than a WR1. BUT ... as the more sensible posters of SNet suggest ... make sure you "try before you buy".

If insurance isn't so much of an issue for you get the JDM STI. Test drive each as close together (in time) as possible, then make your mind up. Wish I had that decision to make.

i drove both before buying a 04 JDM STI - i felt the performance was better alll round, the car was cheaper and so was the insurance to go with it!
