Scooby De-cat
Hi again guys, i might be sounding a bit thick to ask this question but ive got a 2.0 scooby sport non turbo, and was wondering what difference would it make to my cr if i was to have it de-catted? Sound? Speed? aint got a clue to be honest but have heard of people saying theyve got theres done! Also how much would this cost and would it affect the M.O.T? thanks. Craig

Your not going to get anywhere near the power gains that you would if doing it on a turbo car obviously but it will sound louder etc.
Have a look on the Hayward and Scott website for an idea about prices. I don't think it will pass the MOT though.
To be honest, I am not sure it's worth it on your car. You would be better off getting an appropriate back box and straight through centre sections for that exhaust note.
