How do i fit a p1 splitter?

Default How do i fit a p1 splitter?

Hi a bought a p1 splitter of ebay and just wondered how to fit it? ive put it on but need to know how to bolt it on? i took the tow eye cover off but cant put it back on because the tow hook is in the way so do i need to take the tow hook off? second of all i had 4 bolts with it but havent got any holes to screw it into. my car is a 2000 sport. would be very gratefull if someone could post a fitting guide or give me some help. thanks guys

I've just bought a prodrive splitter and the bloke at the workshop said he isn't going to bolt it on just bond it on with glue. He's not a bodge job either i've had a bit of work done by him. Not sure if you could do the same with yours.

Best to screw in the wheel arches with a couple of self tapers. You can also put a couple of screws or bolts on the flat area in front of the radiator and some silicon Bonder. Personally on mine as it was such a tight fit I just bonded it in front of the rad area and screwed it on the arches.

yep I would agree with that one!,did mine the same way!....be careful not to over tighten the screws though!(fiber glass is quite soft) cheeers.
