No Optimax till 26th - Tesco SUL & Millers Vs BP Ultimate
Not sure if the Optimax stopped story is true but the one and only Optimax pump for Pembrokeshire is empty and may be empty till at least Wednesday of next week.
I've done it before and it seemed OK as a temporary fix but I put a full tank of Tesco SUL into the car followed by a bottle of millers octane booster. Now if the Tesco SUL is 97 and the millers is 2 am I correct in saying the fuel is now 99?
There is a BP garage in the nect village but not sure if it has Ultimate. Would it be better to risk it as I've got very little left and go for the BP?
Car isn't that modded but its my peace of mind whether it needs it or not.

According to Bob Rawle, he wouldn't put BP Ultimate in his lawn mower. See post number 24 here http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=478350
