Breaking news just in ...
Mitubisihi's bad press continues with the discovery that they secretly paid designers at their arch rival Subaru to build an Impreza replacement so ugly nobody would want to buy it. Thus Mitsubishi would win the WRX / EVO war outright - admittedly by devious methods.
A senior insider was quoted as saying
"The 'bung' was justified on the grounds that it reduces costs involved in constantly updating models to keep pace with the WRX'.
Subaru have thus far declined to comment but in a brief statement said "Oh bugger, we've really f@cked up haven't we".

So they stole the blueprints out of the Toyota Corolla headlightdesigndept. and gave 'm to their Mitshu-crew at Subaru's to secretly switch 'm with the mean-looking Porsche-alike one's. Wow, we'll see some harrikiri-sword-in-stomach at the comming Birmingham Motorshow MY01 presentation!
