I was gutted to see that my nearest Shell garage in Plymouth at Plymstock has now been converted into a bloody Texaco garage. I find it hard to believe that there is now no Shell garage in the immediate Plymouth catchment area!!! If I want Optimax, I now have to do a 20 mile + journey just to fill up.
Does anybody in Guzz know they are going to open up a new garage elsewhere more local. I've looked at the Shell garage locator but it still shows the ones miles away.

Gutter isn't it. My best mate lives in Staddiscombe so I'd always top up when I was up there. Best bet is Sainsbury's at Marsh Mills who are flogging BP Ultimate for very slightly less then BP. If you want to get keep your octane rating a bit higher go and see Carl Sorrenson at Farraday Mill. He'll do you a box of millers for a fair price and it actually works out cheaper then Optimax.

I did send an email to Shell about this and got alot of board room talk about the market and stuff..... Didnt say that they were planning on opening a new one anywhere tho

I went to Ashbutron to fill up yesterday and it is 15 miles from Manadon round about.... Gives the car a blest too
