there is one on ebay at the moment for £150 but a breaker "Andy" I think his name is does them for £75 so I wouldn't pay over the odds for one.

I believe they have very similar maps etc to the prodrive equivalent for that year. I though about buying one but decided to go the scoobyecu route instead and never looked back.

A scoobyecu is a chip which is installed into the spare socket in a pre 1996 Ecu. You'll find one on ebay at the moment, they are quite rare, 40bhp improvment!!

The chip is very good and i am very pleased with the results, i have installled this chip, a 3" open neck downpipe narrowing to 2.5" and TSL firestorm exhaust system with zero sports pannel filter within the past week. (my car is a 1995 Uk turbo, standard 210bhp) I'm not sure what it has now but it's a hell of alot faster than it was... i've just ordered uprated pads and discs cos i really need them now!!

This chip doesn't fool the ECU into running differently, it's a replacement ECU map for the standard ECU and controls every ECU function. Fueling, fuel cut, Boost level, timing everything is changed. Requires 97 ron fuel or 95 with booster.
