Default MY04 gunmetal wheels

MY04 has gunmetal grey alloys. Car gets washed 'properly' every week and when has been out for a run is hosed down before putting away in garage.

Problem..... all four wheels are severley pitted and marked from the salt... Anyone else? Car has only done 10k in all and usually goes out once or twice a week at mo and doesnt do long mileage

thanks

Mine are fine and i've done 30000 miles in it. Take it to a dealer and prod them until he gets you new ones!

Are you sure they're pitted and not just marked from brake dust? Try some Wonder Wheels and give them a good scrub. If they clean up put a good layer of wax on them and it should protect them from salt and brake dust.

Mine went like that after around 10k. Dealer has since changed them under warranty. Took a couple of months to sort as they had to take photo's of all the wheels and send them off to Subaru in Japan who had to autharise the change under warranty. Then, when they finally arrived, one was damaged! All sorted now, though i wont know if the paint on the new ones is any better as i have different wheels on the car now.
