Just reading about the dilemma that jamieerst is facing and the comparison being made to the Saab where the looks are concerned, but is that the only comparison? 8 months ago before we purchased the Subaru we were initially the proud owners of a laser red Saab 93 Aero, fully loaded, sat nav, full stereo upgrade, leather interior, etc. Is the executive car really all it's cracked up to be? Within 8 months of purchasing the car we had lost 8k - a grand a month I kid you not! On top of that loss, months of to & fro to Saab - 3 new cd players, tc unit, alarm & c/l probs, parkink sensor sticking, mega paint chips and on top of all that when I tried to give it back they only offered me £13,000 against a new one yet fully loaded new price was £33,500. Buy exec at your peril.

sounds as tho legacy is the better quality car although they both seem to drop like a stone ( but thats new cars for you...).however saab looks v.good.
