Lightbulb I need help with speakers ?

Hi guys

Can some1 please advise me of the biggest size speaker i can fit in the parcel shelf on my my99 classic and the same in the fron doors

All advise welcome as am desperate !

6x9s will fit, but you'll either have to make some pretty substantial spacers or get jiggy with a jigsaw on that (metal) shelf....

6x9 will go, without cutting, but the apature does restrict it slightly and they must be able to bolt from underneath (easiest option - no need for spacers and no cutting...just drill 4 holes).

And yes...all of the back seat has to come out to remove the rear shelf ('cos that'll be the next question )

Fronts 17cm will fit, but you are restricted on depth and will need to make some spacers, so is easier to go one size down if your not handy with the MDF

Can't b doing that so will have to go with the spacers idea just hope it works ok ! i have allready taken out the reducer plates they fit

And yeah your right it is how the hell do you get the top part of the seat out seems like its on hooks but cant seem to move it

Remove the seat base to remove the seat back Can't remember what holds the top bit in - it's been too long ago

Will need to pop off at least one of the rear C-pillar trim panels too.
