Default False advertising???

I have just received a decat downpipe that i ordered a few days ago, the price on their web site was £149.95

Their web site clearly states that there is free delivery on every order.

My invoice shows that the downpipe costs £138.20 + £11.75 delivery

So really i haven’t been given free delivery!!! But then i haven’t been charged any more than the £149.95 that the downpipe was advertised for.

So is that in effect false advertising! I'm not going to complain to them because i paid what i agreed to pay for the pipe and i'm happy with the product itself..... just wondered thats all.

whats the problem then??? they probaly meant delivery included in the price as this is easier than adding it on later. also makes it seem cheaper

If they quoted £149.95 inc delivery, I can't see anything wrong at all.

A vendor isnt obliged to provide a receipt, where they do they can account for items in any manner that they choose.
