JDM Style folding mirrors
So can i get motors fitted to my MY05 WRX to flip in the mirrors when i lock the car (like the JDMs have), or not?
oh and how many spondooleys?

Firstly, they dont auto fold, but you can wire them that way if you wanted. If you did, you just need mirrrs and a realy/wiring.
All mirrors from 01 onward wil fit, Although the style and plugs changed slightly from 03.
There are two extra wires need to go to each mirror, that are reversed in polarity by the switch.
I don't know about Newage, but on some later classics the wiring is already there.
So the easiest way:
Two mirrors the same colour,
JDM Mirror switch the same year as your car.
good quality twin wires and bullet connectors (or soldering iron).
The logic is simple.
All mirrors from 01 onward wil fit, Although the style and plugs changed slightly from 03.

just got a few quid in for toys for the car. got some scott lowe mudflaps, next on the list is rear park sensors (rear vision ain't the best & i had them on my last Beemer), & a lower grille.
anyone know a place in kent that can do my mirrors for me? i fitted the flaps myself & i'll do the grille, but i'm not going to go near any wiring myself.
