Planning a huge UK wide relay from Lands End to John O Groats to try and involve as many people as possible, raise as much money for cancer research, and be a fitting tribute to the man.

It will take some planning and co-ordination, so a date of April/May next year is probably best suited, avoiding bank holiday weekends.

Right seems we have interest on this one. Ill admit im no good at organising anything. But im in favor of Lordhardings idea. Leave it till April or may time, Will give time to get it organised, weather will be better. Mr Harding seems the guy to do this. One point thinking about it is there no were near the town he was born ie Reading. Or option two, is to combine it with the 2006 Castle Combe Rally Day.But that off course is a lot later in the year unforunatly.

Ok sounds like a good plan. I read a thread the other day regarding the mega meet back in 2002. over 100 cars. The world cup is every 4 years, why not a huge scooby meet. Make it over a weekend so those travelling can camp etc. Im sure we can find a friendly landlord with a field big enough.

 

I'd be up for it, nut def think it would have to be something for next year, all entry money to a cancer charity or to the Burns family.
