spoke to the service manager at my subaru dealer yesterday,I was enquiring about extending the warranty on the sti for a further year,he said it was around £690 , surely this is a load of old cat p**s,£690 for a years warranty,I bought a two year extended warranty a couple of years ago on a 2001 wrx,and it cost me £299,Whats the crack here then

I think when I had my sport, they offered me another years warranty for £500 and that was a couple of years ago.

 

For a P1 it's 1250 per year I think now, 22b was the same as a normal turbo renewal which was around 600 quid. They upped the warranty renewal prices to over double what they previously were (about a year ago maybe more)

 

I got a 4th year used approved warranty from dealer as part of the deal when i bought my scoob and he showed me the costs for the various different types of warranty and it was worth £450. I never payed this as it was part of the deal but there are a lot of different warranties that they offer.
