Moss,
Yes it does fit, and there are no problems at all. The Scoobysport one adds more performance for the sport and sounds alot better? - Pete will tell you exactly.
I've looked into getting a proper exhaust system put on the sport by Racelogic (Blitz) They do a system for the MR2 turbo i think it was - i have the details somewhere but it will cost in the region of 500-600 pounds. Meant to be well worth it though.
I opted for the turbo backbox as it looks alot better and sounds alot better, and doesn't cost too much (I got it put on when i ordered the car)
Hope that helps,
Ian
PS- From the 2 comments above, yeah there are 2 Scoobysport boxes... one for the turbo and a special one designed purely for the sport- Pete will tell you more.

Moss,
Sounds like your looking for info on modifying the sport for your bro in law, I've done alot to mine (brakes, interior, exterior drivetrain).
I have one question i wonder if you could help me with though! Is there anyway you could take a look under your bro' in laws bonnet and have a look at the air filter. Is it still incased in a big black box with a big black pipe running down the left hand side of the engine? (I'm not sure if it is still done to sports after My99) If you can't, no worries.
Thanks anyway Ian.
PS- It should be very close to where the bonnet scoop would be situated on a turbo, but you will know this.

Hos,
It has got a very strange contraption attached to the big black airbox, I noticed it straight away. It's like a normal plastic hose, but with cancerous growths coming out of it in about three places!! I assume that it's fairly restrictive and is there for noise reduction.
I'm trying to talk him into buying some of the bits I've dumped of my MY99 Turbo cos there cluttering up the barn where my ram will be for the winter!!
