Default Total Scooby Virgin Needs Advice

Greetings nutters.

I've just registered on scoobynet and would like some advice please.
I'm toying with buying a 2003 4 dr WRX from a local garage.
This would be my first scooby and I would really just like to know about the price initially.

I'm over in the Channel Islands so we don't have VAT.

The car was first reg Sept 03 and is blue and includes leather/heated seats and rear parking sensors. It has 10500 miles and is up for £11995 though I am looking at a part-ex and can possibly knock them down a bit.

I've heard a few horror stories about expensive parts and servicing, but am reassured by the likes of the Top Gear Survey that these things are reliable.

If I can get the care for around £11500,is this a good buy ?

Thanks in advance

Hello

Yup sounds like a good buy to me
As for servicing, its not that bad, around 100 quid for the oil change, 250 ish for the 2 year, 300ish for the 3 year, 4 year is a biggie (500+ quid) but its all apart of owning a scoob
