Default Is this car the right price?

I've seen a 2003/53 Impreza WRX in a local independent garage. It's silver, 1 owner and has only done 5,000 miles. They have it up for £14,995 - is this too expensive? I think maybe it is. What do you think?

You don't want to live here then!

Local dealer has a silver 53 UK STI for £17950 don't know mileage but it was running 18" wheels and a blitz Nur Spec exhaust and was regularly thrashed by its previous owner. Its now standard and I bet good money they'd say it always has been.

Also have a EVO7 think its 51 or 52 again £17950 and its past its best already. Seats look worn and the drivers bolster is already deforming.

This dealer BTW is ex Mitsubishi now Skoda. The EVO at that price in that condition is appalling.

Cars are very expensive round these parts.

It sounds expensive to me, if you want to buy from a dealer then why not check out scooby dealers prices on the net for an equivalent car, then makes adjustments for mileage and the non franchised dealer, condition, tyres, service history etc etc.

I would guess closer to £13.5 retail, but some will point you to far better private buy options (like the cars listed above)
