no prodrive air filter why ?
?... the prodrive p. pack as fitted by prodrive does not include an uprated air filter .. is there any reason for this and would fitting say a k.& n. make any difference.. or is the standard filter rated above 265 bhp.. 03 wrx...

That's cos the std filter is very good. It Filters well and does not cause a noticable restriction @ your power levels.
Better off spending you money on petrol.

Mike Wood has posted about this before, I believe they tested panel filters but found that they gave little or no increase in performance for the PPP so didnt fit them.

im guessing that the STI branded filter is what i heard about, if the UK sti filter is the same as the paper wrx one.
