Default Removing rear spoiler.

I Want to remove my MY00 rear spoiler.
Enough with the chicken chat and up to the stealth car.
Beside's that, some é$^µ"'" has almost ripped it of, so it has to be removed for replacing anyway.
But I prefer the "stealth look".

Are there any disadvantages like less downforce or so ?

Why remove. Why not replace. I'm not a fan of them removed. Think very 1.6 look. Maybe your after this for less hassle???

Less hassle, more discreet, sick of remarks and street racers...

Good idea and easy enough to do, just make sure you get a good bodyshop to fill and spray over the holes.

There are as far as i've found no draw backs from removing the spoiler, if you look at Andy 'F's car, you will see that he is running with a small lip spoiler on the rear.... so it's good for 210mph.......

Here's mine...

- thinking the same for my new acqusition (RA Spec C) and wasn't sure whether the big STI wing on the boot was bling or necessity as I prefer a Q car to a cop / thief magnet.

.. from this piccie it appears that the big wing's all after-market bling

http://www.iwoc.co.uk/jpnewagera.html (bit slow loading)

down the body shop on Monday, then - anybody want to buy a big STI rear spoiler (mint condition)?

......shipping might be an issue tho'
