Joy & dispare in one go.
Joy; you finally shifted it, hope you held out for the money you were after.
Dispare; Was doing nothing this w/end and was planning to come and see you and then convince me completely the 333 was the way forward.

As for the price i`ll leave that up to Stephen whether he chooses to disclose if you know what i mean but i think that we were both happy with the outcome, i had already got a good price for the original wheels which i sold only last week so i could come and go a little more.
Kind Regards

Every cloud has a silver lining.
Allys sadness is my happyness as I am now the owner of an absolutely minted WR Blue MY04 STI Type UK with TSL333, 18's, prodrive springs, strut braces and fast road geometry set up, oh and about 1 million layers of polish - that car was totally cherished by Alasdair - I could see he was totally gutted when I drove away and no wonder.
In response to the various points raised above...
Christmas has come early to me - I am very lucky and I love it to bits!!!!!!!
I am glad that you at least enjoyed the sound of me driving off if nothing else.
The run home was great - I was going really slow as it was icy, the wife was behind in her Puma and the road must have had some heavy plant over it as the tarmac was all over the place.
Regarding the money, as Alasdair commented, we were both happy in the end. Notwithstanding, I did go slightly beyond my budget based on what I was buying!!! This was the right car for me so I can justify the additional expense. I looked at a few dogs (in Subaru Dealers) and listened to a few porky pies from salesmen but got there in the end - and it was certainly worth the wait!!! It was a pleasure buying privately from a fellow enthusiast that was a respectable man and not a chav.
GazTheHat - I am a local lad and will no doubt see you around - I would be happy to convince you to go down the TSL333 route. Having driven a couple of PPP'd STI's, I can confirm that the TSL333 is a seriosuly fast car compared with the PPP. PM me if you want. As noted above, it is far smoother and I Love it!!! As Alasidair also noted above, I was after a standard one - till I tasted the TSL333 - so go for it mate!!! I do not regret it at all.
Thanks agai Alasdair and I promise I will look after the car - the powerwash and chamois will be out tomorrow once I get up.
